Here are a few other interesting notes printed in the Lansing State
Journal:
 
* All games at Munn Arena have been changed from 7:30pm to 7:00pm.
* MSU won't open the season until Oct. 25 at home against Michigan, the
Spartans' latest start since 1974-75.
*MSU will make a trip east to play just one game at Boston College, Nov.1
*The Spartans have two weekends off - Nov. 29-30 (Thanksgiving) and Jan.24-25
*MSU will play two Tuesday games against Ferris State
*The Great Western Freezout in LA will feature MSU, Maine, Calgary and
Waterloo.
*The Great Lakes Invitational will feature MSU, Mich. Tech., Michigan and
Harvard.
