According to an AP article in today's Wisconsin State Journal,
Minnesota coach Doug Woog is considering recruiting players from
Canada, Europe, Massachusetts and Michigan, instead of relying on
only Minnesotans.

Woog was very critical of St. Cloud State when they recruiting
non-Minnesota players when they moved up to Division I and joined
the WCHA.

St. Cloud coach Craig Dahl was quoted as saying:
"Instead of coming to the rink with a vastly superior team, now
    (Woog) has to coach."
