Speaking of zamboni drivers.....
 
Tonight between the second and third periods of the UMD @ Denver game the
zamboni driver dropped the blade on the ice and created a 1' x 2' patch of
concrete.  Initially the radio broadcaster described it as a greenish
patch.  Memories of Cincinatti flooded my thoughts.  Luckily they just
patched the hole and after two penalty filled periods and a 60 minute
intermission we still have a period to play 3 hours! after the game started.
