UNH will be adding two women's sports in the next couple of years to help
comply with Title IX. The school already sponsors the following sports
on the women's side: basketball, crew, cross country, field hockey, golf,
gymnastics, ice hockey, lacrosse, skiing, soccer, swimming & diving,
tennis, indoor and outdoor track. Volleyball will added in the fall of
1995 and softball is being planned for coming on board in the spring of
1997. This will bring the total number of sports to 29 (13 men, 16 women).
