Regarding the Hoholik Victory Bell, it was purchased in the late
70s/early 80s by a supporter of Lake State for all athletic teams to ring
upon winning. Nobody ever took up the tradition except hockey, until
Erica Ledy asked J. Jackson if the women's b-ball team could do it this
year. JJ was happy to see some spirit develop in one of the other teams.

Actually, we didn't wear the old one out as much as it died from being
rung the wrong way, although we have won a lot of hockey games in the
last 10 years. By the way, 30th anniversary of Laker hockey next
season. It's a long time since R. Mason drubbed the Wawa Travellers,
7-0.

Any further questions pertaining to LSSU? You can reach me, S.
Monaghan, through T. Schafer's mailbox.
