According to Joe Carr's broadcast, WNDS-50 just decided not to show the
game.  It could have been a liability thing, but there is insurance for that
sort of thing, but regardless, the station just chose not to show the game,
and they were not very specific as to their reasons.  I do think it is
rather rude not to at least say why the game is not being shown.
 
Funny thing is, while Mike thought the game was cancelled, the anouncers on
the Lowell game thought Merrimack and Providence were still on.  I guess
Shawn Walsh made the Lowell AD call around because at the time he was
leaning toward cancelling, but he found most games on.  Well, I guess some
other people changed their minds! <smile>  They definately played hockey
tonight, thats for sure!
