St. thomas scored on a power play less than a minute into the game,
but air force dominated the beriod and got the equalizer about 2/3
through the period. The second saw air force open up a 2 goal lead on
a couple of power play goals. St Thomas brought it to 3-2 on a soft
goal from a misplayed puck behind the net. Air force opened it back
up to 2 on a 5 minute power play. St. Thomas narrowed the gap to 1 on
a power play of their own, and air force held on for the win, narrowly
missing the empty net twice in the final minute. The falcons hope to
have started a streak that will continue against connecticut next
weekend.
