Lowell beat NU 5-3 (enpty net goal) tonight. No box score (not that
anybody really wants one anyway.) Lowell played real well most of the
time. They sure are alot better than when I saw them last two years ago.
THey have a rough style of play, and it certainly worked to their
advantage tonight. They forced NU to fumble the puck many times, and
they took advantage of the loose pucks.
 
Steve McBride went whistle happy in the final 2 or so minutes, calling
things he let slide through the first 3 periods. He even called some 5
minute majors that didn't even look like 2 minute ones to me! I guess
that's why he's a ref and I'm not.
