  At last week's Gophers Blueline Club, coach Doug Woog discussed the
  eligibility of Ulvis Katlaps, a Latvian who played at Dynamo Riga in
  the Soviet Union's elite league and will turn 25 in March, but was
  cleared to play at Wisconsin.  Later, Woog said how surprised he was
  to lose underclassman Mike Muller to a pro assignment with the Moscow
  Dynamo team.  North Dakota coach Gino Gasparini said: "If Muller does
  well enough in Moscow, maybe, in a couple of years, he'll wind up
  playing in Wisconsin."
