This includes those of us who thought we knew why everything
was done. Some of the reasons were different than we'd thought. For
example, Cornell was not sent out West because their PWR was lower
than Vermont's, but because of a three-way consideration of Cornell,
UVM and UNH (each wins one PWC, and Cornell has the lowest RPI); also,
Vermont was seeded higher than UNH to start with, so no flipping was
neccessary.
I have thoughts about the implications of this report, but won't
have time to post them until after the tourney...
