As a former voice of the Dutchman, I was glad to see Union earn a split on
the road in the opening weekend. It is encouraging to see the players
taking well to the new coach, as several accounts I have received have
mentioned. It appears that the goaltending is top notch, but the offense
has not yet caught up on a consistent basis.
I was wondering if anyone saw either the 7-4 win at Dartmouth or the 1-0
loss to Vermont. If so, could you please give an account of the game.
being in Atlanta, news travels slower as you might expect. I have only
heard that Union outshot Vermont badly, and that they hit 3 posts.
Apparently Vermont goaltender Thomas saved them with forty some-odd saves.
Thanks for the help from a first time writer.
