Tom Cochrane and the Red Riders did a pretty nifty tune about pro hockey
called "The Big League" about five years ago.  I don't remember the name of
the album, but it's definitely still in print on CD (Tom later went solo
and had a hit with "Life Is a Highway").
 
Hockey isn't exactly the most common theme for pop songs, unfortunately.
