I don't have much to add to the earlier posting about Saturday night's Brown
- Vermont hockey game, but it was a gutty performance by the Bears. Coach
Gaudet scratched the 2nd and 7th leading scorers for the Bears (Mulhern and Mar
tino (I don't know if they were injured or what)), and even had a defenseman wh
o had not played the entire year centering one of the lines. The line shufflin
g somehow payed off after a very shakey 1st period. The 3 Brown goals were
scored by 3 players who had a TOTAL of 4 regular season goals. The refereeing
was, as mentioned earlier, was pathetic. The only decent thing was that
Gallagher and Dell seemed intent on screwing both teams equally (Vermont might
have got the short end of the stick). The coincidentals were flying, usually f
or hitting after the whistle and getting hit after the whistle :). Two nights
in a row of these clowns - I wonder who we'll get tomorrow night?
