This was one great game!

I don't have the box score with me, but there were many penalties in the
first two periods; each each had man advantages and BC had several 5-3
and 4-3 advantages.

Both teams played their skill players much of the game and they played
intensely! Both goalies were excellent with each making incredible
saves, yet each giving up one soft goal (LaGrand on a slap shot from the
point by Brian Straub: LaGrand seemed to follow Jean-Yves Roy toward the
corner, generally a good idea!, and Brian shot the puck to the far side
over LaGrands out-stretched leg pad. Nice shot Brian :-) ) (Dunham
watched, or didn't see, a slap-shot from the blue line go in; he was
probably semi-screened as a player skated across the shot path, but
again near the blue line).

I guess Tyler Mason Walsh missed this game, as dad Shawn spent much of
the first two periods pointing out BC actions that perhaps the referee
missed. He mellowed completely as Maine took the lead in the second
period.

BC controlled the first period as Maine did the second; the third
period was exciting to watch as each team battled like it was the final
game of the season.

Maine won for the first time in the last half-dozen tries against BC.
