In reading an article about Etienne Belzile, an honors student in pre-med and a
defensemen at Cornell (hardly a factory, as much as in my weaker moments I might
wish it were), I noticed that he had to pass the English as a Second Language test. Does
anyone know whether Latendresse passed this exam and some French equivalent of
the SAT to absolve him from the latter. That's the only way I can imagine that a
"student" would be accepted without fulfilling an admissions requirement. I mean, it is
a "requirement," right?
