OK, disheartened fans of *all* allegiances out there, it's
Spectator Therapy time. Intone after me:
 
"You're never as good as your last win."
"You're never as bad as your last loss."
 
Repeat for the rest of your life, as necessary.
 
It's one hell of a mantra. I don't think I could continue to drive 12
hours a weekend eight times a year on New England winter roads if I
hadn't internalized it.
