Some additional comments on Bri's report:

Yes, Duffus played very well, stopping several shots and plays that could
have made the score 5-1 or 6-1. Cornell fans should be real psyched about
having him around for a couple of more years.

As for the Cornell fans, three were arrested at the end of the game when
they hurled a soda can at the group of Clarkson players congratulating
Hugo Belanger on his eng.

Brian was correct in saying that it was one of the best games Clarkson has
played this year. Too bad he missed the great game vs. Yale.

However, it was a poor game for Guy Sanderson of Clarkson. It seemed every
pass that he made in the defensive zone went to a Cornell player.

Clarkson did a great job of fore-checking during the game. This stymied
the Cornell offense since it was causing defensive turn-overs and blocking
clearing passes.

The TV time outs were a pain in the butt. Players would stand around before
a face-off just waiting. McCutcheon would try to replace his players during
this time,m but Murphy would always wave them back. Murphy was a pain in the
butt too.

Other notes:

I got to watch the third period of the Canada-France game live. I get
(we all get) Canadian TV up here. The ECAC was well represented as
Juneau and Manderville scored the first and third Canadian goals.

I saw some of Hockey Week on MSG. They ran a Star of the Future segment
that looked at Luciano Borsato of Winnipeg. I was upset that they didn't
mention that he played for Clarkson where he's one of the top all time
point getters.
