And, for that matter, what about BU?  They have had a women's hockey program
in place for years, but I am not sure of its varsity status.  One of the
reasons given for the Terriers dropping football (don't get me started) was to
provide more opportunities for women.  Regardless of whether anyone honestly
believes that proposition, one would think that women's hockey would be a
natural progression for an athletic program that takes the game very
seriously.
