Union's ECAC Championship Banners from Division III are still hanging
     in Achilles, there has never been a banner for Union's NCAA runner-up
     team(school outlook - championships only)
 
     I also understand there has been some talk about a a fifth DI
     conference to include Canisius, Niagara, Holy Cross, UConn, Villanova,
     Quinipiac, Fairfield, St. John's, Army and possibly Air Force as an
     Associate member.  It would not be surprising if there was interest on
     RIT, Mercyhurst and Elmira's part also.  Apparently there was a ECAC
     memo sent out earlier this year to the involved schools, what has been
     done or what the level of interest on the school part is anyone's
     guess.
 
     Politically this would be great, anything adding to hockey's
     constituency in the NC$$ would only help.
