I do think that WMU was snubed, if only a little bit this week. I do think
they are a top ten team. Although I will wait until this Saturday to say
if they are better than LSSU or BGSU. But beating LSSU, and MU in any
situation is worthy of some serious respect.

This comes from a CCHA point of view though. I'm sure there are other who will, and
understandably, argue that the CCHA can't expect to have every one of
it's top teams in the top ten. I had similar feelings to what I think
Mike had, when BG didn't move up farther in the polls after beat LSSU
and -COUGH COUGH- tied FSU. But the one thing that we have to keep in
mind is that we are early in the season. Most teams that were in the top
ten at the start, are still there now, give or take BG and MSU among
others. Until things get rolling latter on, it is going to get crowded
in the top for awhile. I would refer to that lesser college sport and the
top 25 poll it has for an example.

I think that the pollsters are ready to give BG top five votes, and WMU
top ten votes. But I think BG will have to wait until it knocks off
Mich. first. As for WMU, IF they keep winning, they will be one of the
first teams to jump into the top 10, when another team falls out.

I'm still trying to figure out Denver and Vermont. :)
