Much as I hate to say it, I must agree.  Lake Superior was definitely
outplayed at Munn on Saturday.  Defensively they looked mediocre, at best,
offensively they were dismal and Grahme did not look strong in goal.
He is a freshman and is Jackson's investment in the future.  And
past experience has proven Jeff can draft good goalies.  However, I would
like to see him settle down a little and stay in the goal more.
And it's true that many of LSSU's big names aren't producing up to
expectations.
 
I wouldn't lay blame for their current situation on any individual.  I
would say, though, that the future of the Lakers lies in the hands of
Jeff Jackson.  He's been there for the building of this program and has
seen lots of success.  Now he has to prove they have the character
pull out of a slump.  They usually gel at the end of the season.  My
hope is that this year they start gelling a little earlier.
