The Huskies continue to struggle...BC breaks an 8 game winless streak
(0-6-2), longest in school history, to remain even with Merrimack at
15 points. After allowing no more than 4 goals a game in 8 straight
(4-2-2), NU has now allowed 18 in their last 3 - 9 to Denver and 8 to
BC - in going 0-2-1. Ouch. And goalies Reynolds and Veisor both had
GAAs under 3.00 in HE entering tonight.

With PC and UNH tied 5-5 late in OT last I heard, UML off, and BC &
Merrimack winning, the #2-8 spots in HE suddenly have become very
bunched up. If PC held on to at least tie, there would be at most 11
points (2 wins + 1 pt) separating 2nd place BU and 8th place PC. And
if PC won in OT, the difference would only be 10 (between BU and BC/MC).
It could get even more interesting after Saturday.

3 HE tv games Sat, including BU-Maine (WABU-68, ch 2 & 6 in Maine).
NESN has BC-NU, and WNDS-50 has USAFA-UML. All start at 7 pm Eastern.
