        Off the AP...

The Toronto maple Leafs traded Dave Sacco to the Mighty
Ducks of Anaheim in exchange for Terry Yake.

Sacco is BU's second all-time leading scorer with 217
points in a career at BU ending with a 62-point season
in 1992-93. Sacco spent most of last year with the
        U.S. Olympic team.

Sacco failed to make the Leafs roster and was designated
        for assignment Tuesday.

Yake led the Ducks in scoring last season with 52 points.

        ALSO...

The Portland Pirates released Cal Ingraham and Mark Bavis.

        Other BU news....

Dale Arnold and Mike Eruzione are confirmed, but they are
still looking for a third person for broadcasts for either
the broadcast booth or bench reporting for games on
WABU this year. The schedule hasn't been released yet, but
they will televise the Oct. 15 exhibition game versus
        New Brunswick.
