BTW--although it's my least favorite side of hockey, I noted with
interest the morning  NHL   highlights on ESPN included a protracted
fight between Drake's former NMU teammate Jim Hiller of the Kings and an
opponent who got some incredible number of penalty minutes in that one
game--like 100+!

I REALLY agree with this sentiment!  Here the NHL finally goes to HAVING
the teams skate shorthanded on coincidental minors to increase the
speed, scoring, excitement, and college hockey takes a step backward!
Boo!  I LOVE 4-on-4.  What's the rationale for not keeping it?
