The UMass-Lowell Chiefs defeated the University of Maine Black Bears
5-0 at Maine's Harold Alfond Sports Arena Sunday afternoon.
 
Maine was shut out for the first time in 304 games since Boston Coll-
ege blanked it 2-0 Oct. 26, 1985.
 
Maine falls to 8-5 overall, 7-5 in Hockey East.
