The person that said Yale got hammered was being kind. As usual,
this box score is subject to the limitation of my eyesight (usually good
to the first assist with the visiting team) and the PA. We all know
about the PA at this point. When their was a discrepancy between between
the PA and me (when the band wasn't playing over it and I caught a few
words) I went with the PA, although I think the official scoring in a few
instances might be changed.

        1 2 3
Yale 0 1 0=1
Harv 3 6 3=12

First period

Third period
11) Halfnight (Body, Gustafson) :44 5x3 PPG.
12) Gustafson 2 (Martins, Coughlin) 11:59.
13) 13:01. I spaced, and I couldn't catch the PA. I think it was Kennish,
put I'm really not sure. This was the type of game where if you blinked,
you missed something...

Penalities: Yale Nyberg (hitting from behind) 3:46. Yale Cipolla
(tripping) 9:18. Yale Giroux, Harvard Holmes (roughing), Yale Cipolla
(holding) 18:05.

I've never been able to get into the "Hate Harvard" thing, so after
the first period, I just sat back and enjoyed watching Harvard play.
Granted, it was like watching a hot knife go through butter, but it was
still fun to watch the knife. Harvard cannot be as good as they looked
tonight (and some of the credit must also go to Yale) but this team looked
very fast and talented. I don't think they missed a pass all night. Yale's
goaltending wasn't great, but over half of the Crimson goals were
basically unstoppable. Harvard also did not try to intentionally run up
the score...which is scary. If they kept the jets on all night, who knows
how bad this could have been...
