CCHA PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Brian Holzinger, a freshman center from Bowling
Green State University, has been selected CCHA Player of the Week for the week
ending February 9, 1992.

Holzinger, a 5-11, 180-pound native of Parma, Ohio, had four goals including
two game-winners in the Falcons home-and-home weekend sweep of number one
Michigan. In Friday's 7-4 home triumph, Holzinger recorded his first career
hat trick. His first marker put BG in front 4-1 while his other two goals
came after Michigan tallies. Holzinger's goal with 2:57 left in the third
period on Saturday snapped a 3-3 tie and gave the visiting Falcons a sweep.

Holzinger was a June 1991 selection of the Buffalo Sabres. He is currently
fourth on the Bowling Green scoring charts with 12 goals and seven assists for
19 points in 22 games. He also has five power play goals and a shorthander.
