That's basically what the manual ad reads because it was faxed
to Merrimack and is a little blurred here and there. I haven't
seen any of the manuals yet but I did send for a copy yesterday.
I mentioned our list, and if anyone reading this decides to
send for a copy of your own, you might want to mention where you
found out about this.

p.s. no, I don't get a percentage of the profits :-), but it's

In fact, I talked to Kathy today, and she said that the 89-90
manuals are still available. There is no 90-91 manual, and there
are no plans for one yet. The first one (89-90) did not sell many
copies. They were giving them away to the press at the media
luncheon today. But, Kathy says that she got many orders mentioning
this mailing list - probably at least 1/3 of all that ordered.
By the way, when you send the orders to that P.O. box, she's
the one who picks up the mail and sends out the books.
I think the book is a worthwhile investment. You saw some of
the obscure information that I was quickly able to pull out
on that Notre Dame question. It's not updated through 89-90
and there are several mistakes here and there, but there
really is no other place you can have all the standings,
playoff results, etc. from all Division I leagues and the
NCAA tourney all in one book. It really is a must for press
people and for big college hockey fans.
Make sure you let Kathy know where you heard of this. It won't
save you any money, but the more people that find out about it and
order one, the better the chance there will be a 2nd version someday.
