sandwiched goals (at 10:37 and 15:55) around a score by
Maine's Brian Straub at 13:26.
The Black Bears pulled even 7:17 into the second period
when Steve Tepper scored. But David Emma put BC back into
the lead at 13:52.
Maine then got back-to-back goals from Jean-Yves Roy, at
16:47 and 18:37, to take its first lead, which stood at
the second intermission.
In the third period, BC's Bill Guerin sandwiched goals around
one by Maine's Scott Pellerin, making it a tie game until
Downey's game winner.
