Just some recruiting news from the April 15 St. Paul paper and the
April 16 Mpls. paper:

Minnesota recruits:
------------------

Early signees:
	Bobby Dustin F	Roseville, MN
	Jesse Bertogliat	F	Cloquet, MN
Charlie Wasley D	Edina, MN (St. Paul Vulcans)

Intending to sign last night or next few days:
Brian Bonin F White Bear Lake, MN
	Jeff Moen G	Roseville, MN

Will sign when they get back in town:
Mike McAlpine D	S. St. Paul (Vulcans)
Dan Trebil D	Bloomington, MN (Jefferson HS)
	Greg Zwackman D	Edina, MN
the St. Paul Vulcans are a US Junior Hockey League team.

Other Notes:
McAlpine is on vacation in Mexico with fellow Vulcans Charlie
Wasley, David Larson, and Dan Woog (yes, the son of Gopher coach Doug
and the brother of NMU's Steve). Larson and Woog, both forwards from
South St. Paul, are expected to visit Minnesota in the next couple weeks.
Minnesota now has an extra scholarship available because F Trent Klatt
signed with the North Stars, and may have another one become available
if D Doug Zmolek joins the San Jose Sharks.

UMD Signees:
-----------
	Jeff Antonovich F	Coleraine, MN
	Kyle Erickson F	Cloquet, MN
Derek Locker F Duluth, MN (East HS, Vulcans)
	Brad Federenko F	Saskatchewan JHL
Yes, Antonovich is the son of Mike Antonovich, former WHA and NHL player.

Wisconsin Signee:
----------------
	Scott Sanderson F	Edina, MN
Minnesota had been recruiting Sanderson, but Sanderson's brother, Jeff,
plays for Wisconsin. Scott is also 2-time defending state tennis champ.
