I agree whole-heartedly with John's comments, and won't duplicate them here.
There is entirely too much HOOK, GRAB etc. going on.  My Father, who came to
Albany to join me for the Finals had an interesting Idea, which I'll run by
you all.
	It is simple, any time a player removes his hand from the stick in
order to "ward off" an opponent a minor penalty would be called.  This does NOT
mean you can't take your hands off the stick at all (maybe to knock down the
puck) but then you couldn't hold an opponent for 5-10 seconds after you check
him, as well as grabbing his stick, shirt or any other means of slowing him down
except via a LEGAL body check, as the game was intended.
