Another question that needs to be asked is how will the new arena in Grand Forks figure into the Final Five rotation. It is supposed to seat around 16,000 people when completed.

Subject: THE NHL AND THE WCHA FINAL 5

The void of professional hockey in the Twin Cities will finally be
filled in the 2000-01 NHL season in a new arena to be built in St. Paul.
The problem is that the new arena will be built on the sight of the old
one which will be imploded. So is the WCHA final 5 rotation between St.
Paul and the Bradley center going to cease after the new arena is
destroyed next March? Or is the final 5 going to be held in the Target
Center during the years that St. Paul would norally host it. I'm sure
that St. Paul would like to have the Final 5 back at the new arena after
it is built.

Go Gophers!!
