I have always enjoyed watching both teams when they come to play Harvard.
I think both sides can produce some very entertaining fast skating hockey.
From what I see, the current Harvard team is guilty of more of the kind of
junk we are talking about than Brown or Princeton.  The scented overcoat
crowd at the Harvard-Yale game were correct.
 
The fault I believe lies in these silly team defense systems.  Some would
properly label it play-off hockey, but it comes down to, get away with
what you can.  The refs can't call everything.  I blame the coaches for
forcing this to happen.  They have to win and so the method ends up not
being questioned.  The same thing is happening in the women's game, and I
don't like it.  The NC$$ through the refs have tried to crack down on
this, but until the coaches take it seriously, players will continue to
be trained to cheat and not play with respect/sportsmanship towards each
other.
