Just one more tidbit on the Gopher's recruitment of Matt Cullen.  I heard
Doug Johnson(editor of Let's Play Hockey) say, two years ago, the
Gophers had one remaining scholarship, but had two players they wanted.
Bill Kohn and Matt Cullen being the two players.  To decide who got the
scholarship, the Gophers sent tenders to both players with the condition
being whoever sent their signed copy back to the Gophers first would receive
the scholarship.  Matt Cullen thought the decision was one he should
take his time thinking about, while Bill Kohn sent his signed copy back
almost immediately after receiving it.
