A couple of comments. I have noticed many have expressed their displeasure
with attitudes and arrogance of gopher fans. Yes, I have seen it too as an
avid gopher fan. But....subscribers on this list are not all in that
category. We have been defending ourselves simply because people have
decided to open the "bash sessions" because of the sweep at UND. A
conclusion after being around all levels of bantams, high school and college
is that gopher fans that exhibit arrogance are mostly an older generation of
people. College students and the like, simply express themselves thoroughly
because they DO think the gophers are the best. Green Bay Packer fans, as
much as I am sick of that, boast their most because the Packers are the best
this year. Same with gopher fans.

Ok, I think it is time to end the hoopla following the UND-gopher series.
It has been a little fun getting into arguments and the such, but we gopher
fans have admitted our team flat out got swept and that is all that needs to
be said. If the gophers played dirty, maybe there is reason to discuss it.
These arguments have gotten out of control and have entered new levels of
bashing and flames. For gopher fans, let's just hope that the team turns it
around against NMU.

Note: If this sounds jumbled without a point, that is the way it looks to
me too.
