        I know nothing about UN-O,  but from what I have seen on this list,  college
hockey would seem to be an almost perfect fit as potentially the only big-time
sport there.  That is important,  from an identity standpoint,  for  its
potential to eventually do well.
 
        The lack of a resident student body might be a worry.   But perhaps the
Plattsburgh and Elmira models apply,  albeit on a larger scale.   At those two
schools the townspeople provide a very significant portion of a rabid fan
base.   I suspect the same thing would happen in Omaha.
