This game is the 23rd longest game in NCAA Division I history. It is one
second behind the 22nd game, which is the 1991 final between NMU and BU.

It was also the fourth longest game in WCHA playoff history.

Jeff Weiss has compiled a listing of the longest games that is accessible
through the CCHA web site at

  http://web.ccha.com/history/longest.html

I have a listing too, under LONG GAMES in the HOCKEY-L archives, but I have
to add one game that Jeff has and I do not have from 1964. (Jeff, I just
realized that I had forgotten to add this one earlier.)
