As a BU fan who made a couple trips to Alfond, I would rank
that arena at about the top of HE at least in terms of noise and
intimidation.  A friend of mine was hit with a slice of pizza there
once in '91-'92.  That is not to say that BU fans are innocent little
cherubs.  Lord knows my friends and I weren't!  :-)
 
        I would also have to rank Walter Brown as one of the louder
HE arenas because the ceiling is low and about all of the seats are
close to the ice.
