West Virginia Hockey?

        The most recent issue of The Hockey News has a full page advertisement
for a certain brand of hockey sticks.  Standing in full pads are two
players wearing West Virginia University uniforms. (The same Mountaineer
insignia they have on their football helmets).  The WVU team is
specifically mentioned in the article, so my question is:
        Who ARE these guys?  Are they DIV I?  If not, what division are they
in and who(m) do they play against?
