In a game of penalties, the Engineers defeat McGill 10-3.
 
The story of the game: The first 7 RPI goals come on the power play.
Overall for the game, RPI was 8-13 and McGill 1-12.
111 penalty minutes including roughings and misconducts at the end
of the game for 6 players after Eric Healey charged McGill goalie
Boudreau.  This invoked a free for all on the ice. Healey was given a
5 minute charging penalty as well.
 
Lines came out a little differently for the Engineers, as 7 defensemen
dressed.  Up front, lines were:

Battaglia-Askew-Clarke
O-COnnor-Regan-Richardson
Healey-Matthews
 
Defense
Aldous-Bartell
Rochon-Tapper
Pirrong-Kiley
Brownlee
 
Mike Tamburro started in goal and was relileved at 9:26 of the 2nd
by Masotta. Masotta gave up all three goals in his debut, looking
very bad at some points in the game.
 
On offense, there were no real set lines as the power play was in
effect for most of the game.
 
Things to note:  Jeff Matthews played his first shift and was injured.
He came back in the second for one shift and reinjured himself. No
word on his condition.

Clarke- 2-2-4
Richardson 2-1-3
Brick 2-1-3
Hamelin 1-2-3
 
Also playing strong games were freshmen Eric Healey and Bryan Tapper.
Healey had 2 assists on beautiful feeds, and Tapper scored his first career
goal.
