In the Wisconsin State Journal, there is a report that standout goalie Jim
Carey was a no-show for practice. The article further notes that he may be
close to signing a contract with the Wisconsin Capitals after all.
 
In other news, Kelly Fairchild has definitely turned pro (he didn't go to
summer school, which was necessary for him to remain eligible).
 
Looks like a rebuiding year for the Badgers....  (I'll still be in the
stands, cheering as loud as ever.)
