A familiar chant here with the local high school athletic teams that have
 to travel downstate to fplayoffs is:  UP Power
 
    That chant now also holds true to college hockey as the Lake Superior
      State University (I apologize for the earlier slip of LLSC, sorry
       it was LSSC until a few years ago) defeat Michigan 3-1 in the CCHA
         finals to give Michigans Upper Peninsula Two Major College
           Champions!
