     Sorry for the typo, but RPI beat Vermont 5-1, not 5-2 as previously
posted.  (Sorry UVM, I'm not trying to rub this in or anything...)
 
     As for these single-elimination playoff games, I like the idea as for as
hockey is concerned.  It forces the teams to play their best on demand, with
no second game or mini-game tiebreak to fall back on.  I think we'll get to see
some terrific hockey this weekend.  And with only one game to play, RPI has
a better chance of beating Harvard (they only have to win ONE game).
 
     Yeah, I know, it's a long shot (RPI-Harvard), but I'll be there with
America's Pep Band making lots of noise and hoping to witness the impossible
#10 RPI over #1 Harvard ?  Maybe.
