earlier revenge than you think! . . . it was the NEXT year (83-84 season)
that we went to LP and won in 4 OT's!  A friend of mine and I drove through
a blinding snowstorm to get to LP . . . older and hindsight said we were
NUTS!  We almost got killed several times (it's bad when you can't even
see beyond your headlights . . . looked like a white wall in front of us!)
 
but . . . we got there, saw the semi's and the final . . . amazing . . .
 
I'm glad that the 2 'big boys' finally recognize the CCHA . . .
