The College Hockey Discussion List Poll for January 25, 1995:
Teams were given 15 points for a first-place vote, 14 for a second-place
vote, and so on down to 1 point for a fifteenth-place vote. Total first-
place votes are in parentheses.
The week's big mover was Clarkson, which swept Dartmouth and Vermont on the
road and jumped from 11th to 8th in the rankings. RPI returns to the Top 15
this week, as does Mass Lowell, which hasn't been ranked in the HOCKEY-L
poll since the pre-season edition.

We turn the spotlight this week on the New Hampshire Wildcats. A look at
the media polls (WMEB and Troy Record) shows that, while the polls are
similar, HOCKEY-L is taking more notice of New Hampshire than the other
polls are:

Finally, a Mildly Important Announcement about the HOCKEY-L poll. While I
have had a lot of fun running the poll in the almost-four years of its
existence, I'm finding that it's taking a bit too much of my time to do this
every week. I should be able to run the poll until the end of the season,
but I'm going to have to drop it after that. So if anyone is interested in
taking over the HOCKEY-L poll next season (or sooner?), please let me know
at [log in to unmask] .
