Todd Okerlund was a real standout player for the Gophers. He passed up an
opportunity to sign with the New York Islanders after his junior year, and
returned to play his senior year for Minnesota. Unfortunately, he suffered
a career-ending injury (his knee, I believe) just a few games into the
season.
