Just out of curiousity - does Ned Harkness still run the facility up in
Lake Placid? Given his stormy relationship with many folks in college
hockey I'm not sure whether he would be a help or hindrance, but perhaps
his connections have something to do with the ECAC's decision. There
has got to be more to this story.....because using publicly available
information the decision just doesn't make sense... [Quick note to clarify:
I fully support the decision to move the ECACs for many of the same reasons
presented by Bill Fenwick - but Lake Placid??].

For those who don't know....Ned Harkness won National Championships at
both RPI and Cornell before moving on to the NHL (where he failed). He
subsequently founded the Adirondack Red Wings (one of the most
successful of minor league franchises) and then moved up to Lake Placid.
