You got it. Tell them we're watching, gently point out the
commentating slips, but try to avoid knee-jerk E$PN-bashing. If we
bawl them out every time a commentator says something dumb but fairly
innocent, it'll dull the impact when we complain about something truly
outrageous, like the tape-delayed game-winning goal (1995) or the
insulting "appetizer" comment (1996). And at least they've never done
anything like M$C's pep-rally pre-emption in last year's regionals.
