Boston U allows early goal, then rattles off 5 straight to crush BC at
Conte Forum 5-1. According to friends who saw the game, it "really was
closer than the score." Apparently BC, having twice as many solid
opportunities as BU, simply failed to convert. Additionally, while Laroque
stood strong in his net, Clemmenson's defense let him down and he was
unable to stop very flashy goals by Drury and Vuori.
Notes:
* Terriers have now beaten the Eagles 21 of the last 22 games.
* Drury nets his 4th game-winning-goal of the season. 2 of these came in
2-goal performances after being shut out the game before.
* BU spreads the points around, with all four lines netting goals.
* BU's front line has now totaled 74 points in 12 games.
* Poti, at right defense, is second on the team in scoring with 4 goals and
15 assists. Guess it's nice to feed it to Hobey Drury.
