Something is very wrong in this story: why can't RPI make
up its mind about league affiliation?  If this decision depends in
any way on whether Powers stays or goes, I would say that RPI's
administration would be so lame that they should consider looking
for a lot more than a new coach or a new league.  If the decision
is not linked to Powers, why was it not made long ago?  Either way,
RPI looks bad.
